St. Ciaran's N.S. Clonmacnois is a mixed four teacher school with 84 pupils (40 boys and 44 girls). Mrs.Sherry teaches Junior and Senior infants, Mrs.Donnelly teaches 1st + 2nd class, Mrs.Egan teaches 3rd + 4th class and the Principal, Mr.Broderick teaches 5th and 6th class.
It is sutuated beside the River Shannon in the north west corner of Co.Offaly.
The school consists of 4 classrooms, a G.P.room, a resource room, 2 offices [sec.and principal], basketball court ,vegetable garden, carpark and a large sportsfield.
We have two learning support teachers Mrs. Carroll and Mrs. Murray. Our secretary is Mrs. Maleney, our caretaker is Frank and Mrs. Lantry looks after the cleaning of the school .

| First Confessions in Clonfanlough Church on March 19th at 8. p.m. |
| Easter Holiday's begin on Saturday 4th of April until Sunday 19th April |
| Gym and Dance classes have begun in the school and will continue for 6 weeks until the Easter Break. |
| The Girls team won their blitz in ferbane and went on to win the mini-7's in Banagher. |
| The Speech and Drama Group will be putting on their Variety concert in Clonfanlough Hall on March 27th at 8 p.m. |
