The Weather:
The weather is unpredictable
It never does what it's told.
I wish I could punish it
For always being so cold.
Sometimes the weather is good
Sometimes the weather is bad
But if I could control the weather
I would be very glad.
I hope this summer will bring cheer
Its meant to be the best time of the year.
For the sun to shine and the birds to sing
Oh to think of the happiness it would bring.
A Limerick by Sophie Gilson
There was an old woman from Moate
She fell asleep in a boat
She got very wet
and sent for her pet
to get her a dry new coat.
