Clonmacnois National School is involved in various art projects/competitions, handwriting competitions, Credit Union Quizzes, and Community Games For the past two years we have been involved with the Barge Project. This involves all the pupils from 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th. We are broken up into three groups -- Acting -- Music -- and Set Design. We practice/sing/compose/design/construct all week and then put on a show in Shannonbridge at the end of June on the banks of the Shannon. This is a great evening of entertainment and marks the beginning of the summer holidays. Last summer RTE came and filmed us during rehearsals.
