Website Launch

The school website was officially launched on Wednesday 25th of February in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
Catherine and Dylan introduced our website to the other 22 schools present. Hollie,Neassa, Ciara, Oisin, Michael and Ronan came to cheer them on.

School Events:

• On the 14th of November the new school extension was opened by an Taoiseach Brian Cowen T.D.

• The Book fair opened in our school on 21st of November and the commission earned is put towards our book rental scheme.

• We had a Halloween party for Temple Street Children's Hospital. We raised €172.

• We sent Christmas boxes to Romanian orphanages. We sent about 100 Christmas boxes away to children in these orphanages

• Big Sing. The pupils in the school from 1st class to 6th along with thousands of other pupils from other schools throughout the country sang a Deserie song in order to enter the Guinness Book of Records and also to raise money for two charities - Childline and Special Olympics Ireland. They did themselves proud. We raised €66.

• On December 18th we had a "Healthy Eating Day" for Concern. This is where all pupils take a pledge not to eat Junk food or sweets for 24 hours. We raised €104.
